Use of code from this site

The code examples provided on this site may be used as follows:

  • You may use the code on personal websites
  • You may use the code on commercial websites (although if you’re getting paid for this a small donation is appreciated)
  • You may adapt the code as required to your individual circumstances
  • You may not redistribute the code, either on its own, or as part of a software package, without my permission

Sadly, twice to date I have discovered that users have bundled up code from this site and redistributed it without even having the courtesy to contact me, which is why this is specifically not permitted.

Yes, you can use the slideshow. I’m assuming you’re talking about the crossfade slideshow. Wrap your images in divs (like this example) and make the sure the divs have a background colour set, this will allow you to use varying sized images.

  9. My friend wanted to have a slide show in his website (referenced above) and all his images are of different sizes. Saw your website and was wondering whether he could use your code. Current implementation you can see by choosing “Events & Awards”. Let us know if we could use your code and also let us know how to handle images of different sizes.

I've yet to find a way of allowing code snippets to be pasted into Wordpress comments - so if you're trying to do this you'd be better off using the contact form.
